Stop Press:
It was agreed to place the order for a Free WiFi solution with Etherlive, thanks to generous contributions from Borough of Poole & Bournemouth & Poole College, The Friends agreed to pay the balance of £4000, the system is piggy backed off The Central Park Cafe and Mezza Luna Restaurant, whose support we value highly.
The system should be live before the end of April.

I don’t know who to thank,
but I just want to say how much I love the new exercise areas that have been created around the Lake.
I go down on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays with my 6 month old daughter, and run around the lake pushing her buggy and exercise on the contraptions for about 1 hour, its really brilliant.

Thanks very much, The Friends started the project off 4 years ago, sadly thats how long some of these things take with funds and planning issues.
BoP Leisure Services actually responded with their own version which we have acheived some of what we planned, phase two is going in very shortly wich will take in a 5K from Whitecliff to Baiter, visit http://www.leisureprojects.net.

Brillant idea. Now my Mum is able to email me. She lives by Baiter and cannot afford internet at home Now She can stop on her way through the park every week and we can keep in touch more often
